The original article titled “The effect of peer mentoring on motivation and self-regulated learning in medical students during transition” published in Journal of Education and Health Promotion, on page 367, Volume 10, 2021,[1] is being retracted because there were several other authors who claimed that they had contributed to this research. This was brought to the attention of the journal's editorial board by the author. Due to these ambiguous claims and conflicting sources, the journal's editorial office has decided to retract the article.
Plagiarism, fabrication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy Journal of Education and Health Promotion, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
